Builders without Borders: Exploring Humanity through Shipbuilding Stories

For our Museums on Main Street, second year programming we would like to introduce a talk series titled: "Builders without Borders."

Our talk series will be a platform for shipbuilders to share their unique journeys, insights, and wisdom, forging connections across geographical and cultural borders. We will invite shipbuilders who previously participated in our Shipbuilder's Roundtable to return and present individual programs, allowing them to delve deeper into their personal experiences, the challenges they've faced, and the enduring impact of their craft on maritime heritage and human life.

"Builders without Borders" is an ambitious endeavor that seeks to honor and celebrate the profound contributions of shipbuilders to human culture and history. We believe that through these engaging talks, we will illuminate the shared humanity that unites us all, transcending borders and time.

Complimentary admission to this talk series is made possible due to a grant by Mass Humanities.
